In Memories Of Ah Ma

Yesterday night, about 9.40pm... I got a call from mami...

"Hello!? Dex.... Ah Ma Just stop breathing...."
"WHAT??? SERIOUS?"

I went to bath and ran out of my room. While Driving in my car, pictures of Ah Ma keep flashing in my mind.

* the way she smiles when u call her
* the way she laught while watching her cantonese drama series
* the way she smile with joy when we celebrate her birthday with her
* she gives out 'ang pow' on her birthday with open heart
* she dance and twist while they party
* she gamble football with my cousin and uncles and also bring them luck
* she even watch football with them but she dont know which is which so we just tell her the colour of their shirt depending on which team she bet on.

but most of all, what remains in my mind was her sweet smile.
and when i reach her house, I didnt even notice who was there. I just walk my may in her room

and there she is, laying on her bed not moving, eyes closed. once i saw her, my tears all gather wanted to flow out but daddy told me

"dont cry, dont call her and dont touch her. just sit beside her. she is sleeping peacefully and on her way to heaven."

so I hold back all my tears and just look at her. I sat in her room for awhile listening to what daddy has to say.

" she didnt suffer and didnt cry. she went peacefully with her last breath. so we dont have to worry about her. "

Today,
I was there since 9am in the morning untill about 5pm. We prayed for her and we accompany her.

One thing I wanted to complain is that my cousin n my aunty cant shut their mouth while praying. They have to talk, laugh and even answer the phone.

WHATS WRONG???
CANT YOU BE SILENCE FOR A MOMENT?
CANT YOU PAY SOME RESPECT?
CANT YOU TURN OF YOUR PHONE FOR AWHILE?
WHY MUST YOU DISCUSS ABOUT OTHER THINGS WHILE PRAYING TO AH MA?
YOU THINK THIS IS A JOKE?

fine.... I dont wanna say more in front of Ah Ma... Even I also switch my phone to silence mode.

I hope this wont happen again tomorrow.

Ah Ma... we all love you... and we will take care of each other... you can rest peacefully with Ah Kong.... dont worry about us...
